This is a show that just might be worth a road trip. I saw it in Fort Lauderdale: inspirational.

There were a couple of grapes in the parade, looking very purple and quite a bit like an artist and her primary cohort.
With a nod to the Coconut Grove Grapevine, who in turn gave a nod to Phil Brown.

Currently teaching a class on Fresco to young artists. At Windisch-Hunt Fine Art Gallery, it is both satisfying and challenging. Engaging and inspiring the kids is worth the effort.

I can’t even begin to list the surfaces that my brushes, sponges and rags touched. This was a transformation of incredible proportions.

The kids at South Pointe Elementary in Miami Beach worked on theme murals – they guided and instructed and I was just an assistant. That is the cool thing about working with kids. No fear, creativity endless. Their energy was contagious, and the ones who have had less exposure to the “arts” were often the most enthusiastic. They painted. I facilitated. It was a great day, with an awesome result and lots of proud young artists.
